Marcantonio
Thomas Marcantonio is a seasoned real estate finance professional with more than 35 years of experience in commercial real estate, lending, and investment strategy. He began his career in 1979 as a junior appraiser, later advancing to roles as a mortgage officer and underwriter, and becoming a managing broker in the 1990s with the Edgecombe Group.
Thomas is currently Managing Partner of Canada ICI’s Montréal office, where he oversees business development, commercial real estate financing, and operational strategy in Quebec. In 2012, through a strategic partnership with MCAP, he directed MCAP Commercial’s Quebec activities, and in 2014, he founded MFCI Capital, a brokerage focused on advising clients on financing and all aspects of commercial real estate projects.
Following the 2021 merger of MFCI Capital with Canada ICI, Thomas continues to lead the Montréal office, focusing on structured financing solutions, risk-aware decision-making, and long-term value creation.
He believes success is built on passion, competence, and hard work, and is deeply motivated by helping clients and mentoring the next generation of real estate professionals.
